Welcome to a space where we practice Citizen Activism. Here you can learn about issues affecting you in South Africa, and make your voice heard. We are stronger when we work together to raise official objections to proposed non-sustainable laws and policies, as well as raise awareness about the unsafe, unsustainable and unhealthy products, protocols and practices in our country. This includes but is not limited to environment, energy, food and agriculture, technology etc. Some issues we work on are calling for appropriate regulation of technologies such as 5G (we are not against technology but insist that it is proven safe before rolling it out – see here for more details), and Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) etc., in South Africa. Another relevant issue is with regard to the energy sector in terms of the Gas Amendment Bill as well as the Gas Master Plan of the DMRE.
